Why this platform exists and how it is funded.
Private sperm donation in Austria currently happens in dated forums or expensive clinics. We're building a modern, data-minimal and dignified alternative — for recipients who want to start a family, and for donors who want to help selflessly.
This platform is non-profit. There are no fees, no commissions, no paid premium features, and no advertising. We don't sell data or attention. That's a foundational decision — it's not negotiable.
Currently self-funded. In the medium term through voluntary donations — never through brokering fees. This separation is required by law (FMedG §16(2): no commercial brokering) and matches our values.
We don't operate a medical facility, we don't broker sales, and we are not involved in the donation itself. We provide a digital space in which private sperm donation under the Austrian Reproductive Medicine Act can happen in a self-determined and informed way — every decision rests with the members.
We're Jenni and Clara, a couple from Vienna. Before this platform existed, we went looking for a donor ourselves. The information was scattered across countless forums, a lot of leads went nowhere, and we kept having to justify what we wanted. At some point we built the site we'd been missing: a calm, safe place that costs nothing.
We started in 2026 in Vienna. What we bring is the road we walked ourselves, plus professional experience in healthcare, law, and tech. That doesn't replace individual medical or legal advice, but it shapes how carefully we handle these topics. For specific questions we point to professionals and to the law as it stands.
